Privacy
Plain English, for the private beta. Effective October 2, 2026.
The short version
- We read the accounts you connect only to find what your household needs to act on, and to answer you when you ask.
- We never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising.
- AI providers process it only under terms that forbid training on it or keeping it.
- Everyone in your household can see the household's items. Your chat is yours alone.
- Email us and we will delete your account and your household's data.
This is a private beta
Visible is early software used by a small group of invited households. Features change quickly. If we ever want to use your data in a new way, we will email you first and ask, rather than quietly updating this page.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, and sign-in details.
- What you put in: tasks, cards, notes, documents, check-ins, photos you attach, and your chat messages.
- Your household directory: the people, places, and pets you add — including details about your children that you choose to enter.
- Voice: when you speak instead of type, the recording is transcribed and then discarded. We keep the text, not the audio.
- Connected accounts (only if you connect them): summaries of emails, the senders and recipients involved, calendar events, and the Google Drive files you point us at. Raw email is processed to make those summaries.
Some of this can be health information (an allergy, a doctor's appointment). See our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
How we use it
- To show your household what needs attention and suggest the next step.
- To answer questions and draft messages in chat.
- To keep the service working, secure, and to fix problems.
That's it. No advertising, no selling, no building profiles for anyone else.
What Visible does in your accounts
- Email: Visible reads your mail. It sends an email only when you click to send a suggested reply. In chat it saves drafts to your Outlook Drafts folder for you to send yourself.
- Calendar: Visible reads events and can add events to your own calendar. It does not invite guests for you.
- Google Drive and Sheets: Visible reads files you point it at, and writes only to a spreadsheet whose link you pasted into chat yourself.
- Research:when an email suggests something worth looking up, Visible may run a web search and save the result as a document in your household. Searches are sent to our AI provider's web search.
Who in your household can see what
A household is shared. Every member can see the household's tasks, cards, documents, directory, and the items Visible surfaces — including items that came from another member's connected email or calendar. Your chat conversations are private to you.
Before you connect an account, think about whether anything in it should not be visible to the other adults in your household. If you are in a situation where that could put you at risk, please don't connect that account — and contact us at willfrasier@gmail.com; we will help.
Companies that help us run Visible
These service providers process data only to run Visible for you, under their own security and confidentiality terms:
- Supabase: Database, sign-in, and file storage (United States).
- Vercel: Hosts the web app.
- OpenRouter, routing to Anthropic and Google models: AI processing for chat, summaries, voice transcription, and drafts. Requests are restricted to providers that do not train on your data or keep it after answering.
- Composio: Holds the connection to your Google or Microsoft account and carries requests to it.
- GitHub: Runs our scheduled background jobs.
If you connect an AI assistant (such as Claude or Cursor) to Visible, that assistant sees what you ask it to read. That connection is your choice and covered by that company's policy.
Google user data
Visible's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Gmail, Calendar, and Drive data only to provide the features described above; we do not use it for advertising, do not sell or transfer it to data brokers, and do not use it to train AI models. People at Visible do not read it except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires.
Who at Visible can see your data
During the beta, the founder can access household data to support you and fix problems — for example, to see why an item was surfaced. We look only when needed, and never to browse.
Children
Visible accounts are for adults (18 and over). Parents may add information about their children to the household directory; that information is used only to help that household. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping and deleting your data
- We keep your data while your account is open.
- Email willfrasier@gmail.comto get a copy of your data or to delete your account and your household's data. We will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
- Disconnecting an account in Settings revokes Visible's access to it right away. Items already created from it stay until you delete them or ask us to.
- Our AI providers do not keep what we send them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each household's data is walled off from every other household's inside the database, not just in the app. Connection tokens for your Google or Microsoft account are held by Composio, not stored by Visible. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you promptly.
Cookies and tracking
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and we do not track you across other websites — so we have nothing to change in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal.
Beta findings
We may share what we learn from the beta (for example, “households used check-ins weekly”) only as aggregated numbers that cannot identify you. We will never quote you or describe your household without asking first.
Your choices and how to reach us
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, correct it, or delete it, wherever you live. Write to willfrasier@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
Changes to this page
We will update the effective date above when this page changes, and email beta households before any change in how we use your data takes effect.
